This solitary pelagic fish is found in US waters and all the way to Australia and Japan. It prefers warmer waters but makes its way north in summer. Highly sought after for it’s excellent flavor as well as it’s fighting prowess. Often found near structures such as buoys, wrecks and reefs, it makes a great specimen to represent the letter C. They are actually a cousin to the unique Remora that is often associated with sharks, but lack the sucker Remoras have.
